About The Author
Born and bred right here in Atlanta, I’ve been an avid reader since I could pick up a book. For some reason, I was always drawn to romance (I chalk it up to the hopeless romantic Taurus in me). Growing up, I devoured all of Nora Roberts books and slowly evolved to Zane and Kimberla Lawson Roby. I studied Writing and Linguistics at Georgia Southern University (the real GSU) where I was able to really saturate myself in different writers and styles.
Then, I found my niche. People often ask me how I come up with my ideas and I can honestly say, I don’t know. But between the writer and the actor in me, I definitely enjoy exercising my creativity. Aside from writing and reading, I have two full-time jobs. One with the federal government and the other as a mommy to two boys whom I’ve lovingly dubbed as monsters. But good monsters. They are my motivation. I sometimes watch them sleep or listen to them play together and I can only thank GOD for blessing me with my children. I also manage to find time to watch TV, believe it or not. I love Shark Tank, Golden Girls (even though I’ve seen every episode 100 times over), and yes, I have to get my Scandal fix.
Let me personally thank you all for your support. My dream was to be a writer and it’s because of you I am able to pursue that goal. I count my blessings and I make a point to uphold the values I instill in my children. So here is my challenge to you: let every day be a step in the direction of your dream.
