Silent Tears of A Gangsta (Book 1)

Growing up in one of the roughest projects in the city of Philadelphia, Black Sam endured a lot at a young age. His father’s presence was nonexistent, and left him to be raised by a drug addict for a mother. Sam practically raised himself while his mother ran the streets, chasing that monkey on her back. Black Sam’s ticket out of the hood is basketball, and he’s on the fast track to a scholarship, with Atika, the love of his life by his side. That is, until a drastic situation changes his life forever.

Atika is a smart, beautiful, young lady, who has a good head on her shoulders. Although life deals her a crushing blow, and her parents aren’t there to raise her, she doesn’t let that hold her back. She wants to make something out of herself, and with Sam by her side, there’s no place to go but up.

Follow the journey of these two young lovers as their lives become embroiled in treachery, deception, danger, and pain. It’s said that there’s only two ways out, prison or death, but Sam has other plans, and jail or the grave aren’t a part of them. Strap your seatbelts on and ride through the rough streets of Philly with Black Sam.
